  • This function returns the rank of a value in a data set as a percentage of the data set exclusive of first and last values.
  • It can be used to evaluate the relative standing of a value within a data set.

Arguments Explanation:

  • Significance – It is an optional one. This argument represents the number of significant digits for the returned percentage value. If it is omitted, it will take three digits by default (For example, 0.294).

Note:
1) If the significance is less than 1 and then this function returns #NUM! Error.
2) If the array is empty, it will return #NUM! Error.
3) If any of the arguments are non-numeric values such as letters and symbols and then this function returns #VALUE! Error.
